Whilst the course will focus on the UX tools that you'll use in your day to day job as a UX designer, each session also provides you with what-you-need-to-know knowledge around strategic thinking, dealing with internal and external stakeholders and presentation skills to help prepare you for the demands of the current job market.

Coming out of the course you'll have received a crash course in UX and have hands on experience of going through a full UX process from idea to prototype, all focused on the skills required by the best companies out there.

WHO IT'S FOR
This introduction to UX course is aimed at those who want to further their understanding of User Experience Design, or make a career switch into the User Experience field. It’s particularly useful for visual and graphic designers, developers, product owners, project managers, strategists and marketeers.

The UX Fika courses and classes are run by Anna, a London based Swedish UX designer, speaker and coach. Over the last 16 years Anna has worked client side for the likes of BBC, for startups (including running her own) and agencies on a large variety of brands and projects, from websites and apps to TV UIs. Both in a permanent and in a freelance capacity. She’s a regular speaker and have spoken and run workshops at conferences like SXSW, UX London and UXLx. She was one of the first instructors for General Assembly in London where she taught close to 50 classes over 4 1/2 years related to designing for multiple devices. She's currently helping organisations and startups with UX related matters as well as finishing off a book for O'Reilly about Storytelling in Design.
